Unemployment allowance

If you are a jobless youth and a citizen of this place, there's no need to worry. The government can support you with an unemployment allowance of 2,000 SR (around 24,000 pesos!) Imagine that!?!? I admire this country for supporting its citizens almost at all cost. Unfortunately, I think the government has been encountering some problems regarding this issue. First, of course, if you are a jobless person, (and lazy) you'll be tempted not to work anymore! I mean, this amount is even higher than the salary you can have if you actually work! =) Another thing is the time limit for looking for a job. If these people are supported UNTIL they get a job, that's going to be a problem. What if it takes them 2 years or more? ;P Anyway, it's just good that they have been taking actions that would really force the person to look for a job.

According to HRDF sources, the monthly unemployment allowance of SR2,000 for the Jan. 24-Feb. 22 will be deposited in the beneficiaries’ bank accounts effective today. During the last two months, a total of 665,000 jobless young men and women had benefited from the assistance.

Note: Publishing personal posts about things happening in this place is not that easy (believe me...people can end up being interrogated) that's why I try to never mention the place and just assume readers know where I am.

  1. Grabe. Haha. Well, sana maging wise na lang yung mga tumatanggap ng allowance to invest on business or something that will profit in the long term.
